Heh, I see I haven’t yet rid myself of my tendency to dismiss the old Noamster when he waxes linguistic, back from the days when I was immersed in non- (and sometimes anti-) Chomskian linguistics. But I gave him a go anyway and I was actually sorry that this little interview wasn’t longer. He has a knack for reinventing himself, sort of a Madonna of linguistics, if you will, and I was curious to see where he is today. :-)
