Popscene!

Tonight’s Never Mind The Buzzcocks featured the lead singer of mid-90s Scottish indie band Geneva. Boy, did that make me feel old..

Here’s the forgotten(?) gem of “No One Speaks” from their first album:

More trips down memory lane; looking back I really liked my music angsty, eyelinered and vaguely androgynous:

    Brilliant club night that pays homage to the glory days of classic britpop and 90s indie, sprinkling in some 60s soul, mod and shoegaze.

    Last Saturday we twirled around the dance floor to the sounds of Pulp, Suede, Sleeper, Blur, Menswear, Mock Turtles, Supergrass, Happy Mondays, House of Love, My Bloody Valentine, The Jennifer’s, My Jealous God….. sigh, those were the days.

    Do you know if he’s been to popscene, leisure or both in San Francisco

    Both are my favorite nightclubs here in the Bay Area.

    A lot of fab UK bands play @ popscene early on, like Muse, Arctic Monkeys, Editors, Amy Winehouse, Klaxons, Bloc Party, et al
