I’m not fond of Andrew O’Hagan and that article was a lot of nonense. You can’t just dismiss a whole level of society like that. There’s been plenty of social activism within the English working class during the 80′s and I really don’t think you can lump all the people in a country together like that – the North and South of England are completely different in so many ways. I also find it hard to believe that Andrew O’Hagan wouldn’t have relatives living in England as most Scots do.
