@mooncalf: yes, it’s rather abysmal. we had a severe weather warning Sunday and another’s due tomorrow. It’s roughly 15-17C and raining most of the time. I’m very envious of anyone south of the border – it sounds like you actually have summer-like weather!

That’s a lovely cardigan but you must be having a pretty bleak Glaswegian summer if an aran-weight alpaca-blend cardigan is appropriate clothing for mid-August!
