Rhiannon, we both think too much about the implications of our knitting then.. because I get what you mean.

The shawl looks great. I’m thinking of colourwork mitts or some sort of lace shawl for the Ravelympics.

A big part of me would really like to knit a Cowichan sweater for the Ravelympics–since the Olympics are in Vancouver this year, it seems apropos. (Then, of course, there are multiple issues about aboriginal culture and appropriation, etc.; perhaps I think too much about my knitting?)
