Wow what a great story I love that you also included pictures. I am glad you feel so close to your family ever time you pick up your needles hopefully you can keep passing along your love of knitting to other family members.

Thanks for sharing your lovely photos and stories! I’m struck by how many crafting bloggers were really into knitting and/or crochet at kids, then put it down for a long time, and picked it back up later in life. And also how many of us had crafty grandmas!
