I'm all for Homestead! Especially if you follow your idea of a dark red contrast colour.

Thanks everybody for your input! I'm dithering, I really am. Homestead is just such a classy design, so I think that's the forerunner. D's loving the Dandle (just like Lori!). And I think Dominika would be such fun to knit. I'm really not making it any easier for myself!

I love Inga and Homestead. Really, I think Inga would work better than you think it will. The fold of the collar makes a very straight line while flaring out a little at the hips. As I am not an especially hip-y person myself, I like this detail, however your judgement is probably best.

I love homestead. That should go on my list to consider making one day :) Dominika is great, and you can always not knit the hearts. I think it would work well if you wear it over something svelte. I picture a black turtleneck.
What a great list of potential projects!

I adore Dandle! I tend toward the larger size and have a habit of wearing baggy or boxy shapes but I don't think they're flattering, nor do they make me look smaller. If I'd assembled this list (and I might have!), I'd go with Dandle. The good news is, any of them will be wonderful.

Blanket is beautiful, and would be even more so in raspberry shades. Martin Storey's designs are wonderful.
